David Christopherson, resident of Wembley, AB, formerly of Valhalla, AB, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at home, at the age of 63 years.

Dave was born on November 19, 1959, at the Beaverlodge Municipal Hospital. He was raised on the family farm in Valhalla. Dave started his work life at the age of 15 and spent many years in the oil patch playing with dirt.

Dave enjoyed watching hockey and spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.

Dave will be sadly missed by his wife Dianna Sutherland; children: Brandi (Anthony), Mike, and Michelle (Justin); grandchildren: Khloe, Rylan, Kinzlee, Kasper, Brooklyn, and Trinity; great-grandchild Talus; mom Jean; sisters Shelley and Doreen; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Dave was predeceased by his dad Walter; brother in-law John; as well as father in-law Robin.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at 2:00pm, at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.).

Interment will be held at a later date.
