Obituary For Darrell Trent Loos
Darrell Trent Loos, resident of Clairmont, Alberta, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at the age of 54 years.
On February 25, 1971, Darrell was born to Ted and Alma Loos in Fairview, Alberta. He went to Sexsmith Secondary School after the family moved to Clairmont, where he became enthralled by vehicles, especially old muscle cars, and eventually got his certification in auto body mechanics and was later employed at Windsor Ford Autobody. He married Bobbi Jo Dionne in 1995, and they had one daughter.
Darrell was described as funny and affectionate by family and friends. He had a very creative, artistic mind. Over the years, Darrell maintained an appreciation for camping, quadding, and snowmobiling. He also enjoyed watching hockey and other action or animated movies.
He will be sadly missed by his parents, Ted and Alma Loos, his daughter, Cheyanne Loos, and many others.
He was predeceased by his brother, Earnest Loos, in April of 2018.
A celebration of Darrell’s life will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 2:00 pm, at Clairmont United Church (9915 100 Ave, Clairmont, AB, T8X 5A8).
