Darcy Smith, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at the age of 56 years.

Darcy was born November 2, 1964, in Grande Prairie, where he spent most of his life. From 2010-2020, he resided in Nova Scotia.

He was known as Chipknives and Leather. He built many things that all of us will cherish. Darcy loved to go hunting and fishing whenever he had the chance to.

He is survived by his wife Louise and their children: Greg (Erica), Dane (Colleen), Keifer, and Santana (Steve); grandchildren: Dustin, Donald, Taniesha, Emily, Colton, Emma and Rye-Lynn; great-grandson Bronson; brothers: Scot, Donald, and Kelly; and sister Louisa.

Darcy was predeceased by his brother Jason Smith (1996), father Donald Laurence Smith Senior (May 2000), and his mother Barbara Elizabeth Smith (October 2017).

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, August 7, 2021, at 1:00pm, at Grovedale Hall.
