Obituary For Daniel "Danny" Raymond Martineau
“He was a son, grandson, brother, fun-uncle, spouse, father, best friend to so many, best man, tong hand. Legend.”
Danny, born on July 24, 1996, unexpectedly and suddenly passed at the age of 29, on December 15, 2025, at 2:15 AM. His cause of death is still undetermined.
He was an amazing son to Brian and Julie Martineau, a caring brother to Sarah, Steven, Tania, and beloved by the rest of his immediate family. Danny became a loving, hardworking spouse to Mallory, and father to their twin boys, Joseph and Thomas, who were born in June of 2023.
Danny was predeceased by his Grandparents, Wayne and Sheila.
So many people knew his name even if they didn’t know him personally. For example, Danny, the greatest tong hand. Danny took so much pride in his work ethic and was such a hardworking man. He trained and shared his vast knowledge always making sure that everything was done right. Danny always spoiled all the rig hands in any way he could. When he was working, everyone was happy it was him and not someone else.
He had to have the best including many toys, trips and great memories together with so many people. He loved being the prankster, always joking no matter where he was, around work or home. Danny made a positive impact on everyone around him, and in return, was loved by everyone. He always made everyone laugh. His laugh was always the loudest and longest. Danny would do absolutely anything for his family or friends if they needed it.
In Danny’s spare time, he enjoyed playing video games such as Call of Duty, with his friends. He also liked cooking up meals on the Traeger and always having friends over to eat and enjoy meals together. He also loved going on the boat and camping, rides on his side by side or shooting off guns. Danny was always having a blast at everything he did. Danny was an all-around athlete: snowboarding, wakeboarding, doing triathlons, driving boats and motorcycles. He could back up any trailer, anywhere and impress everyone with everything he did. Danny was always living life to the absolute fullest, and that’s what he always wanted for everyone around him.Danny loved handing out his custom shirts to friends.
He was full of life, adventurous and had to have the biggest and best for everything. He always worked hard to have that for him and his family.
A piece of all of us is forever going to feel empty without you, the impact you had on everyone was deep and meaningful. We love you so much forever.
“Love you too hunnnny”
I always will and I’ll cherish that so much as the last thing you said to me, thank you so much
A Celebration of Life will be announced by the family at a later date.
