It is with deep love and profound sadness that we share the passing of Daniel Harry Davis on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at the age of 45. Dan was born on September 10, 1980, in Fort McMurray, Alberta. He dedicated his life to being an incredible father and a faithful servant of the Lord. He was a proud member of the RCMP for 22 years.

In his free time, Daniel loved playing with his children, trying new recipes, making his mom’s Jello cake, and, especially, reading his Bible. He enjoyed playing basketball and volleyball. Daniel was also a big Flames fan, an avid hiker, and could always appreciate a competitive game of backgammon.

He is survived by his children, Rhylea, Reece, Hadleigh, Nolan, and Norah; parents Harry and Marilyn; siblings Jennifer (Jamie) and David (Christine); nieces and nephews Brittney, Kayleigh, Ryan, Brooke, and Mark; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, colleagues, cherished friends, and loved pets, Kibo and Leo.

Dan touched the lives of everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. His warmth, integrity, and generous spirit will be remembered forever. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and compassion that lives on in all of us.

His funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Grande Prairie Alliance Church, 15502 102 Street, Grande Prairie, AB.

For those who cannot attend in person, the service will be livestreamed. The link will be available shortly before the service begins.
