Dale was my substitute teacher many times, and also the director for a play I was in as a teen. He was a very nice man, and very passionate about theatre! He was good at putting on voices and getting into different characters! He was definitely an important part to the theatre world and he will be missed by many. I'll be thinking of his family and friends during this time.

So saddened to hear about Dale's passing, he really was one of a kind and will leave a hole in the GPLT community. I worked with Dale on many shows he was a true professional, if you asked him to he off book by a certain date, you can bet he was, he seemed to have and endless supply of costumes and of course the many voice of Dale. He was always willing to stand in if someone was away, sometimes even knowing the lines, was always there at strike and would help in any and all ways to get a production to stage. I can honestly say he was the most reliable person in a production. I enjoyed Dale's sense of humour, as dry as it was, and you always rely on him to lighten a moment. Sleep in peace Dale.

I had the priviledge of knowing Dale since 2002 when we shared the stage in my first ever production in Grande Prairie at GPLT, and over the years I was in many shows with him and directed him a couple times. He was always open to a conversation and particularly those involving Shakespeare 🙂 Rest easy and enjoy your next big role Dale.

Dale was always such a character and always true to himself. He loved to share stories, in all kinds of different voices and accents. He was up for anything to do with theatre, including learning tap dancing numbers. I am grateful to have shared the stage of some local productions with him. Condolences to his family & friends. You will be missed. Rest easy, Dale.

I was very sorry to hear about Dale's passing. He and I worked together in my first GPLT production, The Good Doctor. We had a hilarious scene together and I did some outlandish stuff jumping on a desk. Dale was such a good sport about it. He will be missed by the theatre community.
