Dale will be sadly missed by his wife, Alice Finnen; daughters Alexi (Jose) Rivera and Kamille Finnen (Stephen Coulombe); grandchildren Alexi-Journey Rivera and Kamille Finnen (Hunter, Rogan, and Addison Pierog); siblings, nieces, and nephews; as well as other immediate and extended family and friends. Special thanks to family friends Al and Chris Ferris and Kurt Pierog for all the support over the years.

He was predeceased by his parents, Marguerite Finnen (née Matheson) and Keith Finnen.

No service will be held. A celebration of life will be at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Lung Association (https://lungcancercanada.ca/) or the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Foundation (https://gphospitalfoundation.ca/donate/).

Dale was a thoughtful and unforgettable man. He cherished his family and spent precious time with his grandchildren, loving, helping, coaching and teaching them. He was loved deeply and will be missed. I am sorry for your loss. Rest easy Dale.

It gives me great solace to know that Dale was a man of great faith. I am eternally grateful to have known him. I spent many hours in Dales shop. We called it church. Honestly and hard work were the cornerstones of his life. His love of family and friends (especially his grandchildren) was beyond measure. My late wife and I had many Sunday breakfasts with Alice and Dale. They are my fondest memories. Til I see you again bud. Barry Meng Ban Thon, Thailand
