Obituary For Cheryl Lynn Holloway
Cheryl passed away peacefully in her home in Grande Prairie, Alberta on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, aged 57. A devoted wife, proud mother, loving sister, treasured aunt, loyal friend, and most of all - cherished Nana, she filled every role with warmth, humour, unwavering kindness.
Deeply missed by
Her husband of 33 years, Glenn Holloway her children Kerri (Luc) Valiquette, Jenna (Scott) Holloway, Jordan Holloway, Jamie Holloway, and Shelbie Fried, her grandchildren Cohen and Rhyse Holloway-Valiquette, her grand-cat Theo Holloway, her siblings: Dorothy (Norman) Wanihadie, Donna Napesis, Brenda (Bruce) McChesney, Barb LeBlanc, Laurie Napesis, Alberta Boyer, Avery Napesis and Ian Napesis, and many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Predeceased by her parents Frederick Napesis and Margaret Hiltz (nee Desjarlais), her sister Sara, her brother Randy, her brother-in-law Ron LeBlanc, and her pets Kylie, Samson, Mister, Boog, and Kate.
Cheryl felt most at home under the open sky. Whether camping, quadding, or simply exploring a riverside, she could never resist bringing home a special stone – each rock a tiny keepsake and story she was eager to share. Her collection grew large, and she loved sharing her collections with her family.
Her Celebration of Life will be held at her family home on Saturday, July 5, 2025.
