Obituary For Carmen Morissette Palmer

It’s with profound sadness we announce the passing Carmen Palmer, resident of Grande Prairie, on Wednesday, August 19, 2015.

Carmen was born in Portage la Prairie, MB, on July 6, 1959. She had a love for people which came through in her work. She was employed at QEII Hospital for 25 years, working in food services, and retired in 2010.

Carmen enjoyed doing puzzles, trying new recipes, walking and jogging, and after her retirement, spending time at construction sites with her twin brother Mario.

She had great love for her kids and her family. She was very particular about holidays and anniversaries, making sure to send a card to all those she cared about.

Carmen will be sadly missed by her husband Wade, parents Bibiane and Julien Morissette, children Jason and Daniel; siblings twin Mario (Jackie) Morissette and their son Adam, Pierre (Janice) Morissette and their children Robert and David; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, friends and family.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at 2:00pm at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.).
