Brenda Lynn Link, resident of Sexsmith, AB, formerly of Hythe, AB, passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at her home, at the age of 67 years.

Brenda was born in Hythe on February 16, 1954, where she grew up with her parents and 11 brothers and sisters. Family was Brenda’s first priority. Always there to listen and support, Brenda had fierce strength and was a rock for many people in her life. No matter what was going on in Brenda’s life, she always had a smile on her face and extra love to give.

Brenda enjoyed gardening her flower beds, tending her chickens, manicuring her yard, and spending time with family.

She will be sadly missed by her children: Julie (Tony) Graniero, Adam (Aimee) Link, and Norm (Shannon) Link; grandchildren: Tony Granier Jr., Nicole Graniero, Kinley Link, Kaden Link, Felicity Link, and Irelynn Link; great-grandchildren: Liam, Jasper, and Roman; mother Kathy (Bud) Veldhuis; siblings: Jack, Stan, Donna, Les, Gord, Norma, Dennis, Randy, Bonnie, Bev, and Cathy; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Brenda was predeceased by her husband Ronald Link and her father Gordon Webb.

A Viewing will be held on Sunday, December 12, 2021, from 2:00-4:00pm at Oliver’s Funeral Home, in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.).

An invite-only Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 1:00pm, at Oliver’s Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Webster Cemetery.
