Brenda's and our families were very close many years ago (close to 50!) when our parents were in business together. I remember playing school with Brenda and Debbie - they were kind to let me be the teacher! Brenda was lots of fun and full of life and I hold the fondest memories of our time together. Life has a way of separating people and we lost touch. I do remember the kindness of the whole family to me. Thanks Nicky for starting me on the road to my dreams too. My thoughts and heart are with you all.

I'll never forget our journeys together. I still go to Gino's East in Chicago when I'm there. Nothing beats that cornbread crust. You have always been in my heart even though time and circumstance had separated us. See you on the other 1/2 of the sky my Friend. Rest Well.

So sorry to hear of Brenda's passing . I will always cherish the memories she and I shared. She came into my life when I needed her the most.
