Audrey Elizabeth Walker (née Charters), born on September 20, 1939, in New Maryland, NB, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026, at home in Grande Prairie, AB, with family and friends by her side.

In 1967, Audrey came to Alberta, along with friends, and remained here until her passing.

Audrey loved to cross-stitch and decorate for each season. She enriched the lives of everyone she met.

Audrey is survived by her husband, Laurie; her two sons, Brad (Daniel) and Kurt; granddaughter Kristi; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her mom, Nellie; her dad, James; and her siblings, Aldene, Cecil, Glen, Vaughan, and Dayle.

As requested, there will be no funeral. A celebration of Audrey’s life will be held at a later date.
