Annie “Anne” Green, resident of Grande Prairie, Alberta, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2026, at the age of 90.

Anne was born and raised in Grande Prairie and remained here throughout her life. She enjoyed dancing, gardening, and sewing, along with many other hobbies. Anne also served on many committees in the Grande Prairie area.

She married Albert Green and will be sadly missed by her sons, Greg (Sarah), Dale, Lorne (Laura), and Darryl (Yan); her six grandchildren, Ceili, Joel, Taylor, Ryan, Joshua, and Evan; as well as her sisters, Mary and Marlene.

She was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Jane Stemplowski, and her brother, Greg.

A celebration of Anne’s life will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005-107 Ave). Following the service, friends are invited to join the family for a luncheon in Oliver’s Tea Room. Afterward, interment will take place at the Grande Prairie Cemetery (84 Ave and 112 St).
