Obituary For Annette Burnett

Annette Burnett, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, formerly of Kingston, ON, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2022, at the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital, at the age of 75 years.

Annette was born and raised in Kingston on January 9, 1947. She attended Rideau Heights Public School. Annette and Harvey moved from Kingston to Grande Prairie in the fall of 1974.

She was very thoughtful, kind, and loving. Annette loved to dance and attend events at the Army Navy, as well as the Legion.

She loved to craft, and hand make gifts. Her favorite time of the year was Christmas. She enjoyed travelling. Elvis Presley was her favorite musician, and she was able to travel to Graceland and the Elvis convention in Collingwood.

Annette will be sadly missed by children: Joe (Shannon) Burnett, John Burnett, Jay (Candace) Burnett, and Victor (Kyla) Ouellette; grandchildren: Michael, Corey, Crystal, Taylor, Jadika, and Marcus; great-grandchildren: Holly, Kaleb, and Hunter; as well as sisters: Ethel (Darrel) Drew, Irene (Allan) Bradley, and Paulette Barkley.

Annette was predeceased by her husband Harvey Burnett; daughter Patricia Williams; grandson Nicholas; as well as her parents Albert and Patricia Barkley.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, July 29, 2022, at Grande Prairie Cemetery (84th Ave and 112th St.).

    My deepest condolences to your family I used to drive the handi bus and your mom was always so kind she always gave me 2 dollars for a coffee and if you said no that's ok she would find a way to slip it in your pocket lol she was a very nice lady R I P
