We offer in-house grief counselling to anyone who needs it. Kimberly Talmey, RPC-C is a Certified Professional Counsellor who has a passion for helping those who are hurting.
Kimberly Talmey, RPC-C
Hello everyone. My name is Kimberly Talmey. I offer help for a variety of mental health needs. It is my passion and purpose to help others who are struggling with long-term grief, loss, major depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD and CPTSD, suicidality, and complex grief issues. I can also help with anxiety, grief-based anxiety, depression, family violence, career loss, and general counselling for life transitions and new directions.
Unprocessed emotional overwhelm can show up in your life as other mental health concerns and we don’t always recognize that the root issue is grief. Depression, anxiety, anger, frustration, addictions, suicidal tendencies, and lack of personal responsibilities or accountability can all be caused by grief. I am here to help you unravel the complexities of your struggles. I can help you process overwhelming burdens, so you can live your life with purpose and passion. I can help you incorporate your struggles into growth as you live your life’s goals and dreams. This is how we find beauty in brokenness and hope in our losses.
It is a privilege to work with and service the people of Grande Prairie. I love what I do, and it is an honour to walk with people in their time of need.
My husband and I have lived in the Saddle Hills rural area for the last 23 years, where we have raised four adult children and enjoy our eleven grandchildren. We love living in the country with the wildlife and the quietness that nature provides. We are currently raising one of our granddaughters who is an aspiring professional equestrian athlete, so we are learning a lot about competition and equine health and fitness. We enjoy fishing and swimming in the summer months and spending time with our neighbours and friends. We love our two German shepherd pups who enjoy our many daily outings.
I would enjoy getting to know you all. Send me an email or call and let’s have a coffee and get to know each other.
