Night’s Discussion: When Grief Is Left Unspoken
Grief is not something we can simply set aside or move past on our own timeline. When it isn’t acknowledged or expressed, it doesn’t disappear; it often shows up in other ways. Unprocessed grief can affect our thoughts, our emotions, and even our physical well-being. It may appear as stress, anxiety, irritability, fatigue, or a general sense of feeling “off,” without always understanding why. These experiences are more common than we realize, and they are a natural response to loss that has not yet been given space.
In this session of Together in Healing, we will gently explore what happens when grief is avoided or pushed aside, and how it can impact our mental and emotional health over time. More importantly, we will talk about how acknowledging grief, even in small, manageable ways, can begin to ease that weight.
This is not about forcing yourself to grieve in a certain way or at a certain pace. It’s about creating awareness, offering understanding, and providing a safe space where you can reflect, listen, and connect with others who may be experiencing something similar.
Whether your loss is recent or from years ago, you are welcome here.
This session is free to attend. Registration is required to help us maintain a comfortable and supportive space.
