My deepest condolences. It has been many years since I have visited with Aunt Ruth but I will always remember her gentle nature, calm voice and her fabulous hugs. It was always a treat during a visit to be able to listen to her and Uncle Carl play music together. Now they can be together again.

Our deepest sympathy to Mel and Doug and their families. Your Mom and Dad have been our best friends forever. We've shared many joys and sorrows over the years, we've worked together in our church in Hines Creek and also shared experiences in the Ghana mission field. In whatever they did in life, they've been an example to all of us who have known them. But most importantly, they have always practiced their faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. My condolences to the family of Ruth Wutzke. I was a child in the Hines Creek Lutheran church while Ruth was the organ player and I always wished that I could play too so I would watch but it didn't help me. When Ruth taught painting I was part of that class with my mom and still remember wanting to do a spruce tree with a million needles to paint. I do love the quote that is attributed to Ruth. My condolences to Doug, Melanie and families on the loss your Mother and Grandmother. Treasure and find comfort in the many memories you have. I am glad I had a nice chat with Ruth on the Sunday before she left us. And of course we had a couple of laughs about happenings from by-gone days. Our sympathies to Doug, Melanie and families during this difficult time. I don't remember exactly when I met Ruth and Carl but do know that my parents and I moved to our respective "ranches" west of the Montagenuse in the early 1950s. Memories of our time there (Carl or Ruth [usually Ruth] driving us the 15 miles to catch the school bus which transported us another 15 miles to school; us going off the road into the willow bushes, with Ruth driving, when a tie-rod end broke on the car!!) stand out the most. Although we haven't kept closely in touch over the past few years I've always heard about how Ruth was doing through Doug, Melanie and other, mutual, family members. Rest in Peace Ruth.

Mum... you have been a rock for me. Thank you for all you have done for our family with your ever present... never failing love.

Ruth was my Mother-in-law from 1976 to 1990. We still kept in touch over the years. Ruth was one of the strongest, most self-reliant women I have ever known. Inside she had the most caring heart. She loved her family, nature and God. She lived her life based on those loves. She was an example for me, as a woman, as a Mother and as a Grandmother to my children. I was blessed to have had her and Carl in my life. I know at this time, she and Carl are enjoying a wonderful reunion. May we all treasure the wonderful memories we have of this amazing woman. Barbara
